Cuba is a life-changing destination so few have had the opportunity to experience, where 18th century fortresses overlook picturesque bays, and ’57 Chevys roll down narrow, palm-lined colonial streets. Due to government restrictions, Cuba has remained cloaked in mystery for those that haven’t had the pleasure to visit, often seen as a forbidden traveler’s paradise to many families. Well those days are over!

 

With its colorful collage of art deco architecture and classic cars, tropical landscapes and exuberant music and dance, this once-hidden island country now opens its hospitable doors to the world and offers families a cultural experience like no other. Children, teens, and young adults alike will be warmly welcomed by local families and personal interactions are sure to be a memorable highlight.

 

This is an adventure like no other – focusing on connecting with and learning from the local people and their families. Although U.S. government requirements don’t allow for the level of freedom of choice found throughout our other family adventures, visiting Cuba is a once-in-a-lifetime experience where the reward for sticking to the program is something you definitely won’t regret. CONSIDER:

Cuba's infrastructure is basic at best. Hotels (outside of Havana) are Spartan; restaurant service often slow; stairs and sidewalks uneven and pitted; roads bumpy, elevators often not functioning, and more. But for those willing and able to look beyond this, Cuba is a fascinating and rewarding country on the verge of big change. More details about the challenges can be provided.
