Window on the World of Jane Goodall

A Primate Safari though Tanzania & Rwanda

Ideal Length of Trip:

14+
days
DESCRIPTION:

Discover some of the most rewarding wildlife viewing destination on earth: witness the great variety of wildlife in the Serengeti Plains of Tanzania, search for the largest group of free-roaming chimpanzees in the world at Mahale Mountains on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, and observe mountain gorillas up close in the mist-shrouded Virunga Volcanoes National Park of Rwanda. Many threats challenge the Mountain Gorilla population. However, by visiting their habitats we can make a difference- by helping the local people understand the value of the continued survival of the Mountain Gorilla.
