Mount Kilimanjaro

Trekking to the Rooftop of the World
DESCRIPTION:

Legendary for its majestic beauty, surreal landscapes, and world-class trekking, Mt. Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa and the world's highest free-standing mountain. We approach from the west, along a less-traveled, non-technical route. Our trek takes us through five major eco-zones, up to the glaciated summit, the highest point on the African continent at 19,340 feet. Our expert guides are dedicated to our safety and comfort, and this trek offers plenty of acclimatization time, giving you the best chance at summit success.

CONSIDER:

All participants must be in excellent physical condition. Please inquire for further details.

OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS & ADD-ONS:

Visits to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and other game parks can be added.

Ideal Length of Trip:

8+
days*

* Treks range from 6-10 days, with different levels of difficulty and acclimatization.

Please contact CuriOdyssey Travel for more details.

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL:
The best time to climb Kilimanjaro tends to be the warmest and driest months from the beginning of December through the beginning of March, and then from late June through the end of October.

Although Kili can be climbed outside of the dry seasons, which are the most popular times to climb, doing so will increase the chances for a successful summit.
