Timed to Coincide with the Epic River Crossing Season

Tanzania: A Luxury & Tented Migration Safari

DESCRIPTION:

This journey is timed to ideally coincide with the large herds that congregate on the Serengeti, plunging off riverbanks en masse into rivers filled with crocodiles – a tremendous wildlife spectacle! Cross the Maasai Steppe into Tarangire National Park to witness massive herds of elephants. Drive through the impressive Great Rift Valley escarpment into the Ngorongoro Highlands and spend a night in the luxury of Gibbs Farm. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to more than 30,000 animals, including black rhino, cheetah, lion, hyena, and more. In the great Serengeti, home to a host of predator and prey, we search for wildebeest river crossings. Throughout, we overnight in luxury lodges and finely appointed tents.
