Featuring Gorongosa National Park

Mozambique: A Window on Eternity

DESCRIPTION:

Discover the allure of Mozambique, a tropical paradise that remains largely unexplored. Adventure awaits us with Mozambique’s beautiful scenery, variety of wildlife, and pristine marine life as you visit three different ecosystems and parks.

In the Great Rift Valley, discover Gorongosa Game Reserve, a hot spot of biodiversity, where life revolves around Lake Urema. The near destruction of this park was averted and its rebirth is a phenomenal lesson to all travelers. Every guest that visits Gorongosa plays a vital role in this amazing wildlife conservation effort.

Then fly to Niassa Reserve, Mozambique’s largest reserve. On the banks of the Lugenda Rover, stay at a Bush Camp and spend days on game drives and walking safaris, home to lion, leopard, African wild dog and their prey:  Boehm’s zebra, the Niassa Wildebeest, eland and hartebeest. Large populations of elephant and Cape buffalo roam here as well.

Conclude thisour journey at yet another ecosystem, a marine life- rich island in the Quirimbas Archipelago. This small island boasts small bays and coves, white beaches and turquoise waters. Travel by boat to explore the surrounding marine life, including dolphins and whales. Snorkel the Quirimbas’ marine riches or SCUBA dive, relax, go fishing, kayak, look for pelagic birds, and dine on delicious local seafood.
